Christ as Good Sheperd on the Ceiling of Catatomb, 4th century CE, the Catatomb of Saints Pietro and Marcellino, Rome, Italy.

This is the painting in the catatomb of Sainting Pietro and Marcellino, the artists divided the ceiling into several sections to give it the feeling of space. The artists used the traditional technique to represent a new symbolic art form. The circle in the middle represents the sky. Christ is presented as a good sheperd in the painting and it also indicates that Christ sacraficed himself for the people. The lines and technique of the painting is not extremely well done, but it represents a new form of art style.
